It was a \u201c<\/span>dual-rail type<\/b>\u201d product with upper and lower rails, which can still be found on the market today. Due to the limitations of traditional mechanical design, this type of product has several disadvantages:<\/span>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

1. The rail height of dual-rail products is too high, approximately 55\u201375 cm above the ground. On a staircase, this places the rails around the waist level of pedestrians, which is <\/span>the height where fingers and arms are most likely to come into contact when people pass by the stairs<\/b>!<\/span><\/p>

2. On dual-rail products, the <\/span>drive gear and rack structure on the rails are exposed<\/b>, making it very easy for fingers to be pinched or clothing to be caught! They may also come into contact with grease and oil stains on the rack.<\/span><\/p>

3. Current dual-rail products <\/span>do not comply with domestic building regulations<\/b>, which require rails to be installed below 50 cm from the ground. The structural risk is obvious! Please refer to <\/span>Article 33 of the Building Technical Regulations, Building Design and Construction Section<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>

4. Since stairlift products are still not subject to mandatory inspection under current regulations, some operators may continue selling old dual-rail products that have not passed national safety inspection<\/b>. These machines may also lack safety protection design around the unit<\/b>. In addition, some importers may claim that their products have passed safety inspection<\/b> without submitting them for re-inspection in the sales region, Taiwan. These products may therefore present safety concerns!
