PRODUCT SAFETY
Has there been a news report on TV about a stairlift hand entrapment incident? Are your products safe?
1. The rail height of dual-rail products is too high, approximately 55–75 cm above the ground. On a staircase, this places the rails around the waist level of pedestrians, which is the height where fingers and arms are most likely to come into contact when people pass by the stairs!
2. On dual-rail products, the drive gear and rack structure on the rails are exposed, making it very easy for fingers to be pinched or clothing to be caught! They may also come into contact with grease and oil stains on the rack.
3. Current dual-rail products do not comply with domestic building regulations, which require rails to be installed below 50 cm from the ground. The structural risk is obvious! Please refer to Article 33 of the Building Technical Regulations, Building Design and Construction Section.
4. Since stairlift products are still not subject to mandatory inspection under current regulations, some operators may continue selling old dual-rail products that have not passed national safety inspection. These machines may also lack safety protection design around the unit. In addition, some importers may claim that their products have passed safety inspection without submitting them for re-inspection in the sales region, Taiwan. These products may therefore present safety concerns! Please refer to the formulation and revision of relevant national standards in line with the physical and psychological characteristics of older adults.

Following the previous question, if our home has many floors, could the stairlift battery run out of power halfway?
Following the previous question, I often see news reports about lithium battery explosions. Is there any risk of your battery exploding?
- Slow Charging System: The battery charging system uses a low-current and trickle-charging design. By using the sleeping period in daily routines for slow charging, it can effectively prevent battery cell heating and swelling that may occur with fast charging, fundamentally reducing explosion risks while ensuring long-term charging safety and effectively extending battery life.
- Full-Time Power Monitoring: The stairlift system continuously monitors the battery voltage and power supply status. Once any abnormality is detected, it immediately activates the protection mechanism and stops charging, ensuring stable operation of the overall system.

What should we do with the stairlift if we move, change homes, or no longer need it in the future?
Wealtree is a domestic brand with our own complete rail production factory. We provide a fully integrated one-stop service, from design and production to construction and installation. We have the capability and will do our best to assist customers through the following methods:
1. Moving or Changing Homes: Wealtree can assist with dismantling your existing stairlift rail and reinstalling it at your new residence. Since staircase layouts vary, we will reassess and redesign the rail, and prioritize the use of your existing rail materials to help reduce costs. We will also reconfigure the required stairlift settings according to the new staircase environment, such as remote controls, parking stations, and charging stations. This allows you to continue using the stairlift even after moving to a new environment, while preserving the convenience and value it provides.
2. If Your Family No Longer Needs It: Wealtree does not purchase used equipment in order to avoid concerns from other customers regarding whether company-supplied products are new or used. However, we can help match you with customers who are looking for second-hand equipment, and you may negotiate directly with them. Once an agreement is reached, Wealtree will assist with dismantling and reinstalling the stairlift at the new location, and will provide quotations and collect service fees from both parties accordingly.
What material is your rail made of? Other providers all claim that their rails are made of high-carbon steel and are strong and durable.

MAINTENANCE SERVICE
How should your product be maintained? Are the maintenance costs expensive?
How long is your product warranty? After the warranty period ends, is it necessary to sign an extended warranty contract?
Our products come with a two-year full warranty. During this period, any non-human-caused mechanical failure, repair, or replacement of internal components will be covered by us. However, certain consumable items, such as batteries, product appearance parts, and seat upholstery, are not included.
After the warranty period expires, because our products are designed to be durable, we generally recommend scheduling one in-home deep maintenance service with us each year. An extended warranty or regular maintenance contract is not absolutely necessary. Of course, if your product is installed in a public or commercial space and you would like us to provide regular maintenance or extended warranty coverage to ensure user safety, we can also offer suitable plans for your reference. In any case, Wealtree will continue to provide professional technical support and repair services.
